The 9th IRAM 30-meter Summer School on Millimeter Astronomy hat will take place in September, 6-13 in the ski resort of Pradollano, in the Spanish Sierra Nevada, at only 15 minutes driving distance from the IRAM 30-meter telescope.
The school is aimed at attracting news scientists to current and future single-dish millimeter and sub-millimeter facilities. The school is primarily meant for researchers with little previous experience in mm-astronomy. It is limited to about 40 students who will be selected on the basis of their interests, experience, and references. The selection criteria will take into account gender balance and other ethical considerations.
