A conference in the summer 2018 (11th-15th of June) specifically related to the blazar phenomenon.
The main scientific aims of the meeting are to discuss the major advances in blazar science since the epoch when the “blazar” name was coined at the Pittsburgh conference in 1978, and in particular, the recent discoveries enabled thanks to the Fermi satellite, as well as to anticipate advances in the near future with high-energy facilities such as CTA and IXPE.
