CatRIS Portal has been upgraded

The CatRIS Portal has been upgraded to fully operational version 3.0 with a new user-friendly interface. More than 100 Research Infrastructures have been registered over than 130 services and have improved their discoverability all over Europe. ESO: Publication “ESO’s Benefits to Society” published

The European Southern Observatory (ESO) issued the new publication “ESO’s Benefits to Society”. It explores ESO’s impact on society and ESO´s contributions to its Member States across five areas: science and engineering, economy and innovation, talent development, education and outreach, and international collaboration and policy. This Brochure is not available for sale.

The SKA Convention officially entered into force

Concluding five years of negotiations, signatures and ratifications, the Convention establishing the SKA Observatory (SKAO) entered into force on January 15, 2021, with the official launch of the new intergovernmental organization scheduled for February 3-4 , 2021 at the first SKAO Council meeting.
