This is a reminder that the European VLBI Network call for proposals deadline is next Thursday (1 October 2026; 16:00 UTC). The next call for proposals is now further away, on 1 April 2027, as the schedule has switched to two calls per year starting in 2027. Therefore, we encourage you to submit your ideas to secure EVN time sooner!
As stated in the call for proposals, the EVN will undergo significant changes in 2027, particularly regarding observing cadence and how to propose for the EVN. We recently held the EVN Users’ Meeting as part of the 17th EVN Symposium (thanks to those who attended!) and presented more detailed information on these changes, along with the results of the EVN Users’ Survey. You can find the slides from that Users’ Meeting here, and we will make the recordings available and share them at a later date.
