The AtLAST conference The Atacama Large Aperture Submillimeter Telescope (AtLAST) design study: results, science, and next steps will take place in Mainz/DE on 21-24 May 2024.
This conference aims to bring together all researchers, both scientists and engineers, who are interested in AtLAST and want to support its next steps. Talks will span a broad range of topics, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the AtLAST endeavour, such as: astrophysical theory and observations, telescope design and engineering, optical design, instrumentation, weather measurements, renewable energy systems, telescope operations, societal impact, astronomy policies.
Registration opens in January 2024 and closes end of March 2024; Abstract submission is open and closes on 12 February 2024. Read more.
