For a first glimpse on the potential of upcomming facilities like the Square Kilometre Array, the Max-Planck Scociety has invested in the MPIFR-MT SKA prototype telescope that will be built, at the SKA site, in South Africa and will operate mid 2018. Interested user of the prototype telescope are invited a 1-day workshop to discuss the scientific and technical potential with the aim to compile a comprehensive observing programme for the upcomming years. The workshop will take place at the Max-Planck-Institut für Radioastronomie on April 16, 2018.
