The NRAO will host the 18th Synthesis Imaging Workshop on 18-25 May 2022 (virtual format).
The workshop will introduce the participants to aperture synthesis theory and techniques, data calibration, imaging, and analysis methods. The participants will have a chance to see examples and work on data from the Very Large Array (VLA), Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA), Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), and Long Wavelength Array (LWA).
The school lectures will be at the level appropriate for graduate students in astrophysics or early career researchers new to radio interferometry. The program will consist of live lectures and extended discussion mini-sessions after each lecture.
Registration is required and limited to 275 participants.
