About 1800 scientists from around the globe attended the European Astronomical Society (EAS 2022) Annual Meeting in Valencia. Opticon RadioNet Pilot project (ORP) was subject of several presentations on the special session European Forum of Astronomical Communities on 30 June 2022, a special platform at the EAS meetings launched at the EAS Meeting in 2017 in Prague. Its main aim is to discuss the development of underrepresented astronomy communities in Europe and to present the current opportunities for researchers within Europe. This year the talks covered topics related to the International Astronomical Union (IAU), European Space Agency (ESA), European Southern Observatory (ESO) and also research networks like EUROPLANET or MW-Gaia COST Action.
The ORP was represented at this session with several presentations; the session was attended by about 40 people.
